Cat Vs. Rat - Act 1 - The Challenge

Here is a bit of literature to go along with this (Sorry for the shitty kitchen background) BTW: Rheena is not that small.


Act 1 - The Challenge

It's been a week now since Rheena tried to snag some food from the Human's kitchen, but was always foiled by their cat, Katya Catswell. Katya was a large, black cat with piercing yellow eyes. She had a good and tough body structure compared to Rheena Scattail, a small but somewhat decent body structure for a rat.

Rheena has had enough of being halted by that cat. She'll starve unless she eats, and the only way to eat is to rid herself of Katya. She's gonna fight that cat once and for all. She may be small, but Rheena believes that her small stature will prove to be beneficial.

Rheena scurried out of a small opening from the kitchen wall in search for Katya and finally confront that feline pest. After a while of waiting for Katya, she decided to head over to the cat's food dish and water bowl and begins to eat the kibble.

Katya walked into the kitchen wearing a tight, green and yellow, wrestling singlet. She noticed the rat snacking on her food and became enraged. She stormed over to Rheena and slapped her away from her food.

"HEY!" Katya snarled "That's MY food! I don't want some rat bringing germs to MY food!"

Rheena hit the floor with a loud thud. "Ah!" She squeaked in pain. She then quickly got up and looked at Katya. "I was waiting for you!"

Katya arched an eyebrow at Rheena's statement. "You were, eh?" she grinned maliciously as she lowered herself to see Rheena face to face. "Do tell."

"I challenge you to a wrestling match!" Rheena declared. "If I win, I get to eat for free whenever I want. If you win, you can do whatever you wish against me."

Katya stared at the rat bewildered before bursting out into laughter. "You can't be serious!" She replied "You want to wrestle me? You know you won't win, right?"

Rheena gave her idea a bit more thought but also began to formulate ideas on how to take down her opponent if she did so agree.

Katya stood up, towering the small rat in her black and red singlet. "You know what? I'll take you on. Prepare to be crushed, you pathetic rat!"
