Biography: Nightmare is a creature of darkness. She has the ability to cause bad dreams into sleeping victims and instill fear into anyone who dares cross her. However, in the daytime, she just drinks coffee and winces at the fact that many monsters (and people) have made the "My Little Pony" references just to get a rise out of her. And if her powers were not limited to Darkness and/or direct moonlight, Nightmare would set them all ablaze in ghostly blue fire. But the sun prevents this... Poor Nightmare.

So, Nightmare needed an alternative to using her powers. She thought about trying to be nocturnal, but she can't sleep. So, instead, she decided to try and get fit so the next person who calls her a "Pony" would get socked in the face (or worse). Upon making her way to the Gym, she notices a magazine of Playboy Vampire's "Wrestlettes" collection. To which she was impressed, seeing Agatha, Ripper and Alyria's fit bodies.

She arrived to Midnight Mansion to seek a workout session (because she somehow thought that Playboy Vampire was a Gym) but ended up finding out that it was for a spandex fetishism magazine company. She didn't really care, so long as she got a workout.
